About Us

Founded in 2020, the Pseudobiblical Text Society is a Massachusetts‑based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the study of texts that lie outside the traditional biblical canon—including apocryphal, pseudepigraphal, and other ancient writings.

We bring together scholars, students, and the wider public through research initiatives, lectures, and digital resources. Our work seeks to illuminate the diverse theological and cultural currents that shaped early Judaism and Christianity.
